Programming Applications for spring 2024 are now OPEN!
Programming submission GUIDE:
Applicant and all co-hosts must be at least 16 years old by 4/20/2024. If you content is 18+, you must be 18 or older.
Please include a presentation or detailed outline with all programming submissions. We will not accept programming with little-to-no information included. Have supporting materials and clearly communicate your plan for your proposed programming. For mature and 18+ programming, we will require that you submit the actual presentation such as a powerpoint for review. If you submit mature or an 18+ programming without the material to be presented, we will place the programming as tentative and email asking for the presentation. If the presentation is not received, we will have to decline the programming.
Have engaging and interactive content. Programming should be entertaining and attract an audience. “In-character” programming must have more content than just Q&A.
Physical contact between participants is not encouraged. Tutorials and workshops may be allowed, but we’d like to limit the amount of contact the audience will have with each other for multiple reasons.
Speed/blind dating panels must be accompanied by an effective marketing and logistics plan. Past examples such as video content or participant testimonials are encouraged to get this type of panel approved. Poorly attended and programmed dating panels aren’t fun for anyone.
Programming for all audience age groups are welcome, just make sure to let us know your panel is 18+ if it is for more adult audiences!
If you are an Idol or k-pop group wishing to perform at the event, submit your proposal here and our team will review.
Programming submissions will be reviewed by Nishi Fest, and those selected will be contacted at least 2 weeks prior to the event. If you have any other questions about this information or the programming proposal form, please send an email to contact@nishifest.com.
